The short version
This is a personal site. I'm Saleem Yousaf and I run it. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and uses a small amount of analytics. I don't sell or share your data, I don't run ads, and I don't have a newsletter list.
Who is the controller
For the purposes of UK GDPR, Saleem Yousaf is the data controller for this site. You can contact me at info@cyberspartans.co.uk.
What data is collected
Three categories, all minimal:
- Hosting access logs. GitHub Pages, the host, records standard server logs (IP address, request URL, user agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These are GitHub's logs, not mine, and are subject to GitHub's privacy statement.
- Cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own. Embedded fonts from Google Fonts may set cookies as part of how Google operates that service.
- Voluntary contact. If you email me, your email and message are in my mailbox. I keep correspondence as long as it is useful, then delete it.
What it is used for
Logs are used for security and to understand which pages are read. The data is not used for profiling, marketing, or training any AI model. I don't run a CRM and there is no database of visitors.
Third parties
The following third parties may receive data when you visit this site:
- GitHub (hosting). Receives all standard request data.
- Google Fonts. Receives a request for the font files referenced in the page. Google may log the request.
- Cloudflare-style CDN behaviour may apply to font and script delivery.
No data is sent to advertising networks, analytics dashboards, or AI providers from this site.
